Return Policy

Custom made to order and Vintage items are not eligible for return or exchange and are considered final sale, which will be noted in the Shipping & Info tab on each product page.  For these final sale items we encourage our customers to view all descriptions, measurements, and photos, as well as contact us with any questions before purchasing. Items that are eligible for return or exchange, which will be noted in the Shipping & Info tab on all product pages, can be returned for a merchandise credit or exchange, less all shipping fees. A Cottage in the City wants its customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases and shopping experience so if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason please contact us for a return authorization within 7 days of receiving your item. Upon review we will email you a return authorization number and further instructions. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Please note: returns will not be accepted without prior authorization.

*If you receive an item that is damaged or defective please notify A Cottage in the City within 24hrs of receiving the item. We will email you a return authorization with instructions for returning the damaged or defective merchandise and send you a replacement free of shipping. *If your package appears to have been damaged in transit, please take pictures of damaged outer packaging as pictures will be needed to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
